Horse Chestnut : Where can I find one?

Now that you know all about the horse chestnut, I’ll bet you’re chomping at the bit to go find one. Not to worry; there are many horse chestnuts on the campus of UVM.

There are at least four horse chestnut trees near the Living/Learning buildings. If you go looking, you will probably find more, but I’ve marked down a few to give you an idea. As you can see in the picture, there is one behind L/L D, two more to its side, and one in front of L/L E, near the bus station.

However, the best place to go if you want to find horse chestnut trees is the UVM Green. Seen in the picture to the right, there is a cluster of horse chestnuts on the northern end of the green, a couple to the east of the fountain, and then a few more sporadically located on the southern end.

Now that you know where to find one, I wish you luck on your travels in search of the horse chestnut tree.
