Center for Research on Vermont

The collections here are drawn from the materials created by The Center for Research on Vermont, a clearinghouse for Vermont-related research. As an interdisciplinary network of scholars, the Center serves a number of constituencies, including state government, public schools, institutions of higher education, museums, and cultural and social agencies, and the general public.

The Center's Research-in-Progress Seminar Series and refereed publications program offer a continuing forum for scholarly discourse on Vermont. In addition, the Center provides reference services on Vermont research to its members, educators in a variety of settings, students, government representatives, the media, and the public. The Center offers Vermont Studies as an interdisciplinary minor in the College of Arts and Sciences.
